Fast ForWord PLUS Summer Program

Accomplished Learning Centre (ALC) offers and supports the full library of Scientific Learning's Fast ForWord and Reading Assistant programs.

This ensures that the learner is able to work on the most appropriate program based on age, ability, and need.

• Literacy Series: Literacy, Literacy Advanced
• Reading Series: Reading Prep, Reading 1, Reading 2, Reading 3, Reading 4, Reading 5
• Reading Assistant

OPTION 1: OUR PLACE

• Kindergarten to Grade 12 (whenever possible will be grouped by age)
• One-hour, 2-hour, and 3-hour options
• 4 or 5 times per week
• Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The computer lab accommodates up to six students quite comfortably. It is fully monitored by trained and experienced staff.

The student does 30, 40, 50, or 90 minutes of one or two Fast ForWord programs based on the student's specific needs and goals.

Trained staff oversee the computer lab and assist the students as needed.

• Children may be dropped off--parents don't need to stay.
• Progress reports provided daily and weekly.
• Lots of incentives to keep your child motivated including a points system to earn prizes, a weekly contest, and lots of give-aways.
• Healthy snacks provided.

Daily fees: 1 hour $29; 2 hours $39. Minimum four weeks.

OPTION 2: YOUR PLACE AND OURS

• The student does 30, 40, 50 or 90 minute sessions, once or more per day, five or more days per week, at home.
• One 1-hour one-on-one session per week at ALC which may include Reading Assistant.
• A free loaner laptop is provided so that it may be brought to ALC for the weekly sessions.
• PLUS!!! Lots of incentives, support, support materials, assessments, and special bonues.
