Over 2 million people have improved learning, language, reading, listening, and attention skills with the Fast ForWord family of programs. Fast ForWord is actually 11 different programs covering pre-kindergarten to high school level reading, comprehension, attention, and language abilities. Fast ForWord was developed by neuroscientists and is the world's most researched program for enhancing these skills. Fast ForWord has a companion product called Reading Assistant which enables the student to practice reading to the computer. The computer is non-judgemental and so its immediate correction of errors is not embarrassing to the reader.

 ALC is Canada's largest private provider of Fast ForWord and in 2009 received Scientific Learning's Newcomer Award for being the fastest growing learning centre.
ALC offers Fast ForWord and Reading Assistant in three formats:
On-Site:
The student works on computers in Accomplished Learning Centre's computer labs in Langley or Abbotsford. This is the best alternative as it is the least expensive option, support staff are right there when needed, and the students have access to Reading Assistant, additional assessments, pre- and post-testing, and other resources as needed. Fees: 50 minutes $29; 90 minutes $39; program set up fee $200. Funding assistance may be available through CKNW Orphans' Fund.
Off-Site:
Fast ForWord is done at the student's home while Accomplished Learning Centre staff monitor progress over the internet and provide support by email and telephone. This is most suitable for people who are too far away to ever attend the learning centre in person. Even so, it is preferable to meet the student at least once for an initial assessment to determine the best starting point in the programs.
On-Site / Off-Site Combination:
This is the most popular method for people in the Lower Mainland outside of Langley or Abbotsford. ALC provides laptop computers so the student can work at home during the week and attends a one-hour one-on-one session with a trainer once per week. Students have access to pre- and post-testing, and additional assessments and resouces as needed.
